Today we went for a walk to the insurance agency and the post office. Then a train hurried by and we stopped to go "choo choo" as it roared past. We then walked downtown to rent a couple of movies then next door to the thrift store. Then moved on to the bank to deposit a check and back home. It was a fabulous way to spend our first day off in 10 days.
These pics are when Owen is 10 to 13 months old. We live in Nebraska so the snow is a new experience. We went sledding 1 day and he loved it, we think. Owen loves baths! You can say, "Owen do you want a bath?" Clear as day he will say, "yes" and start walking to the bathroom while trying to undress. Owen has his own cupboard to play in in the kitchen. He makes a big 'ol mess, we call it a tupperware party!
Owen is from 3 to 5 months in these pics. We got him all ready for his first trip to the heated pool at our new apartments, flip flops and all(thanks to Leslie). Too bad the heater was brokena and the water was too cold to get into. Here is Owen in his St. Patty's Day outfit he got from grandma P's co-worker, he is my lucky charm! The got pic with the turtle on his shoulder because he did it himself, somehow. We were playing and I went out of the room for a second and when I came back they were just chillin. It was too cute! Lastly, aunt Lisa hold Owen up while he plays with a toy!
These pictures were taken
in the first 5 weeks of Owen's
precious little life.

He loved the camera and I always said the paparazzi was here to take his picture.
Owen Gregory Dobler's birthday! January 16, 2008 at 8:45 am weighing 8.23 oz and 20 1/4 '' long. He came by c-section and was perfectly healthy! On his brithday he got to meet mommy and daddy, of course. Grandmas Deb and Paula, grandpa Patrick, uncles Josh and Marsh, aunts Lisa and Jessica. It was a wonderful day and from it came a beautiful baby boy. Precious Owen!

The maid of honor was my cousin Leslie Andresen and the best man was Paul's long time friend Eric Neubauer. The adorable ring bearer and flower girl are Paul's cousin Charlie and friend's daughter Raechel. Our cake turned out so beautiful and delicious, lemon with blueberry. We sang to each other during the first dance, Stay With You by John Legend. It couldn't have been a better night!
